Who I am and What I do

I’m Jessica. I spend most days trying to find the sweet spot between overt optimism and cautious pessimism.
I have a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and enjoy examining current issues in the field.
You might find me watching my flock of backyard chickens, tending my vegetable garden, caring for my roses, or seeing the world.
I might also be found enjoying popular BBC programs, obscure Japanese animation, or Indie films with my best friend and loving husband, Roman.
This blog will record aspects of my museum work, urban homesteading,  and travel too. Look around, and feel free to ask questions!
